Mokse Engineering earns respected SKF certification

Mpumalanga-based armature winding specialist, Mokse Engineering, has earned SKF’s highly respected Rebuilder: Electric Motors certification, following a stringent audit in September 2016. The company is an approved rebuilder and supplier of leading electric motor brands up to 450 kW. It is also a CX 0719 certified flameproof rebuilder and its 600 m² cutting-edge facility is equipped to carry out repairs on pumps, fans, welding machines and generators.

“Quality remains our primary goal when carrying out our core business of repairing and supplying electrical equipment,” says managing member, Christopher Hubball. Mokse Engineering has built a solid reputation among its customers, which include power utilities and leading steel processors, who consider the company as a quality outfit.”

Mokse Engineering has made large investments in high-tech equipment, including a state-of-the-art fully computerised vacuum pressure impregnation plant. “In addition to our complete flameproof facility, we also have a dedicated test facility for armature winding and we are also equipped to do load and pump testing,” adds Hubbal. “The company’s services also extend to non-destructive testing and field service work, including on-site balancing. We also have the capabilities to balance soft and hard bearings to extremely fine measurements. Mokse recently installed a unique in-house designed and developed shot and sandblasting facility.”
