Tectra offers Exlar actuators

1st Quarter 2011 News & events

Tectra Automation recently signed a distribution agreement with Exlar, a well-known manufacturer of industrial actuators. Tectra will supply the complete range of Exlar actuators – regarded as the only true electromechanical alternative to hydraulic cylinders – to the local market.

Exlar’s patented roller screw technology offers high shock resistance and allows an inverted design, easy disassembly and quiet operation. Its contact area is 15 times more than conventional technology. Benefits of Exlar actuators include cleanliness, long service life, high efficiency, moderate costs and robustness.

Exlar actuators are suitable for the petrochemical and woodworking industries and for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders used in general industry or sawmill equipment.
