High pressure transmitter

4th Quarter 2011 News & events

A high pressure transmitter from BD Sensors, the DMP 304, records pressures of up to 6000 bar and delivers precise, consistent results with an accuracy of 0,5% FSO in accordance with IEC 60770. It can be used in numerous applications, including hydraulic presses, high pressure testing stations, hydroforming, high performance pumps and hydraulic force measurement.

Drawing on experience gained from over 20 years in pressure measurement technology, BD Sensors has designed the DMP 304 for safety and durability, particularly under high load change conditions. It is fabricated from highly hardened and tempered stainless steel which has been specially treated by conditioned ageing under pressure and temperature. There are no welded seams, internal seals or joints. The transmitter is available in an ATEX version and offers maximum efficiency and reliability, leading to reduced plant downtime and operating costs.

It has a range of analogue output signals and a large number of electrical and mechanical connection options. This makes it possible to tailor the device to each application, all at a very good price to performance ratio.
