Advanced Fluid and Transmissions is one of the few one-stop service companies that offers design, manufacturing, supply on demand and repair services for a comprehensive range of hydraulic, pneumatic and power transmission systems to both private and public sectors.

The company recently changed its name from Bafokeng Fluid Power to Advanced Fluid and Transmissions. It is a Level 1 BBBEE Contributor and is ISO 9001:2008 certified (SACAS). Advanced Fluid has been the distributor of Metaris hydraulic piston, vane and gear products in South Africa, Zambia, Namibia, Ghana and the DRC since 2011. Metaris products can replace known brands such as Rexroth, Vickers, Denison (Parker), Kawasaki, Liebherr and Sauer-Danfoss.

In 2013 the company also became the distributor for Radicon Transmissions. This product range consists of flexible couplings, worm gears, industrial gearboxes and the Roloid gear pumps. An exciting new brand has now been added to its range. Hydreco Hydraulics, previously known as David Brown Hydraulics, has a wide range of hydraulic gear pumps and motors, main control valves, pilot control valves and power take-offs. These have proven power and control in a wide range of industries such as construction, forestry, agriculture and mining.

The company’s approach to business is to first conduct a thorough diagnosis and needs analysis to understand the client’s requirements, and then to provide solutions which help them achieve all their hydraulic and pneumatic objectives. This is carried out by specialists with a wealth of experience and expertise who are able to deliver cutting edge, process-driven solutions.
