Pneumax joins with Torre

3rd Quarter 2015 News & events

With the recent acquisition of the Set Point Group by Torre Industries, a JSE listed company, an opportunity has presented itself to leverage existing infrastructure and resources within the Torre Industries group and its associated business units. Torre Industries’ largest business unit, Torre Parts & Components is a well established business with a revenue of R700 million. Employing 600 people, the company operates across southern Africa, with an established footprint in the automotive, commercial, mining, military, marine and industrial sectors. “It is logical that we leverage this infrastructure and its associated resources and we have taken a decision to integrate Pneumax as a division within this larger business unit within the Torre group,” says managing director, Deon Steenkamp.

Pneumax will form an integral part of the industrial and mining pillar of Torre Parts and Components and will continue to retain its brand identity, relationships with customers, suppliers and other stakeholders, while now having the ability to leverage the infrastructure and resources of this larger business unit in order to expand and grow. “We are very excited about the opportunities that this will bring to our business and we look forward to continuing to develop the business of Pneumax,” says managing director, Deon Steenkamp. “The integration process will be phased in over a period of a few months and as we progress we will keep you completely informed of any changes or improvements that are being made and assure you that through the process our customers will continue to always be put first.”
