Robots with high dynamic performance

4th Quarter 2017 Robotics & Mechatronics

JTR Technologies is the agent for Staubli Robotics in South Africa. Staubli is a pioneer and global leader in closed structure robots. Its high performance robots are renowned for their dynamic stability and trajectory control. They come in a wide range and have an enclosed structure, making them easy to clean and use. The IP65/67 wrist, vertical cable outlet and arm pressurisation give them the ability to work in harsh environments, while the rigid frame allows for high dynamic performance

They have multiple mounting configurations, which allow for adaptability and flexibility of cell design. The JCS patented reduction gear system results in unrivalled precision, flexibility and speed, along with reduced maintenance. The large work envelope allows optimum use of the work area. Thanks to the pioneering safe digital encoders, easily accessible safety board and I/O and Ethernet connections located on the robot forearm, they can be used in sensitive or restricted workspaces.

Every TX2 robot is accompanied by the new, lightweight and compact CS9 controller. This offers a variety of integrated functions providing faster integration and consistent availability with minimal maintenance. The innovative CS9 sets new standards in safety and comes standard with collaborative robot safety built in. Staubli has 80 R&D engineers available to provide simulation of any machine integrated with a Staubli robot. JTR Technologies is therefore able to provide full product support for any project in the country and can assist with simulations and feasibility studies to realise projects in any market.
