SAFPA’s 31st AGM held on 23rd May 2013 was preceded by a very informative presentation by Norman Hall on the legal ramifications surrounding pressure equipment, pressure vessels and accumulators. SAFPA has now set up a subcommittee to deal with all the implications.
Paul Tift and Fritz Kern have stepped down from the Executive Council, while there are two new members, Eugene Tondolo from Axiom Hydraulics and Michael Abbot from CT Hydraulics. The members of the new committee are now as follows: Norman Hall (Hyflo), Walter Zimmerman (Hydraulic Training & Consulting), Willem Gijzelaar (Hytec), Manny Vieira (Ernest Lowe), Emil Berning (Eaton Hydraulics), Russell Gill (Engineering & Hydraulic Services), Craig Sim (Turnkey Hydraulics), Eugene Tondolo (Axiom Hydraulics), Bruce Garner (Genflex) and Michael Abbot (CT Hydraulics).
