Multifunctional LED beacons

Local Moflash distributor, CHI Control, has announced a new signalling range. This multifunctional line of high intensity LED beacons, available in both 125 and 200/400 enclosures, provides a choice of two or three visual operations. Johan de Bruyn, Moflash product specialist at CHI Control, explains, "The more traditional products only provide a single option, however the latest Moflash range provides a selection between static, flashing and rotating signals - meaning that these LEDs are suited to most environments. "This range is also available in an audible operation version, enabling the installer to cover two signal requirements with one product and one set of installation costs," adds De Bruyn. Other advantages of using LED beacons is the low current draw making them suitable for panels - and the long life of over eight to 10 years, unlike more traditional products which have life expectancies of between 100 000 Xenon hours - or in the case of filament units 10 000 hours.
