TurboDirect SA launches online store

Third Quarter 2021 News & events

TurboDirect SA is launching an all new catalogue and online store. The brands include all international OEM leaders and a wide range of after-market turbochargers, such as Garrett, Mitsubishi, Borg Warner and IHI Turbo. All come at unmatched prices. “The advantage to our customers will be the ability to search, see product photographs, read accurate descriptions of the product and watch linked YouTube videos. We aim to be the one-stop online store for all the leading Turbocharger brands, as well as related components and performance accessories – at the huge price advantage that we are known for,” said Chris Kambouris, founder and MD of TurboDirect SA.

“We have a massive database in the background, with 4500 parts for turbochargers and loads of data from OEMs and information on power, drivetrains and parts, as well as cross reference information,” he said. “This is updated daily as we get new or updated information from the market and manufacturers. We have images of hundreds of turbochargers. These are displayed as high-res pictures showing the compressor side, turbine side, bearing housing and actuator. The same applies for all our other brands and products, which include AEM, ACE Clutches, Simpson race products, ARP and TurboDirect products.”

TurboDirect SA is South Africa’s largest OEM turbocharger importer and wholesaler. It has the country’s most advanced repair centre and forensic laboratory, with in-house CNC engineering capabilities, a 4-wheel drive dynamometer, an engine dynamometer and testing services. It caters for all automotive, mining, agricultural and marine related markets.
