Incledon adds control valves and actuators to its portfolio

January 2011 News & events

Incledon has expanded its portfolio of fluid conveyance products following the company’s recent acquisition of industrial valve specialist, Valves Technology and Repair (VTR). This has brought two new international brands into the portfolio: ValvTechnologies and Max-Air Actuators.

ValvTechnologies specialises in the design and manufacture of severe-service ball valves, parallel slide gate valves and control valves. The products are manufactured from specialised materials, including Chrome Molly – a durable,

low-alloy steel that can withstand high temperatures and high pressure applications of up to 4500 bar. These valves can be applied to high pressure and high temperature applications in the power market. The major advantage of this technology is in its energy saving capability. ValvTechnologies offers a four year zero-leakage guarantee on steam applications.

The 'integral seat terminology' sets the valves apart from the competition. They differ from traditional floating and trunnion-mounted designs as the seat is an integral part of the body and therefore has no cavity areas.

Valves range from ½ inch to 36 inches (1,27 to 91,4 cm) in size and are rated Ansi 150# to Ansi 4500#; all are SIL3 and SIL4 (Safety Integrity Level ) certified, the highest safety certification and requirement for industrial plants.

Complementing ValvTechnologies is Incledon’s range of competitively priced

Max-Air actuators. Manufactured in Italy, they have accessories that include switchboxes, solenoids, and positioners. Through its extensive line of 180° actuators, Max-Air Technology Italy provides cost-effective solutions to automating valves for the most complicated flow requirements in diverter (L-Port) and multiport (T-Port) flow applications
