Distribution development manager, Anton Theunissen explains that the recent expansion of the company’s distributor network not only allows its customers improved access to SKF product and services, but that the strategic selection of SKF authorised industrial distributors ensures close proximity to its customer base. “This facilitates effective planning and stock management, while enhancing the ability to service customers and end-users in the shortest possible time. This partnership with our customers reduces asset downtime, while maintaining the best possible production levels, uptime and customer performance and ultimately reducing total cost of ownership to our customers,” he says.
The Bolt & Engineering Distributors Group is a leading supplier of engineering related products to the construction and mining industries. The Group’s national footprint spans Gauteng, North West Province, Free State, Platinum Province, Western Cape, Limpopo and Mpumalanga. The company operates from eleven locations throughout South Africa and the full SKF products and service portfolio will be available to industrial customers in the respective branch areas.
