Hytec appointed distributor of Dabeb-Elram

2nd Quarter 2017 News & events

The Hytec Group was recently appointed as distributor of the Dabeb-Elram range of electro-hydraulic actuators. This enables the group to take the DEA range to the doorstep of sub-Saharan Africa’s major operations through its extensive distribution network. Dabeb-Elram specialises in the manufacture of electro-hydraulic actuators that can be found in the majority of South Africa’s power stations and refineries, as well as in major mining operations around the world.

All DEA actuator components are enclosed in a self-contained steel casing. The sealed unit is protected from external contaminants and tampering, while its robust steel casing makes it ideal for the harshest operating environments. This plug-and-play functionality also effectively reduces the requirement for client commissioning time and its compact design enables a closer mounting solution to almost any linear application. The DEA range also features pressure relief and flow control valves that enable versatile and flexible performance in terms of speed and force. All Dabeb-Elram electro-hydraulic actuators are manufactured at the company’s 1500 m² facility on a case-by-case basis, according to each client’s unique specifications. Dabeb-Elram also offers full repair and refurbishment of its electro-hydraulic actuators, no matter its age or condition.

“Dabeb-Elram is one of the country’s leading suppliers of electro-hydraulic actuators and our clients will benefit from the highest product quality, backed by nearly 50 years of in-field application knowledge and experience,” says regional manager, Freddie Kühn.
