Motor prices reduced
Second Quarter 2004
News & events
Due to the favourable exchange rate, Lockers Engineers of Chamdor has announced a reduction in price across its range of Invicta vibratory motors. Invicta motors are available in a wide selection of frame sizes for use on single and three-phase electrical supplies - with thermistors as standard.
The housings are either high-grade aluminium or SG cast iron, which are dust and waterproof. The out-of-balance weights have single bolt adjustments to give variable centrifugal force output. Larger sizes are captive on the shaft to ensure safe adjustment. The special heavy-duty bearings withstand centrifugal loading. The latest development in the Invicta range is a motor for vertical applications on centrifuges. To enhance nationwide customer service on Invicta motors, Lockers has appointed:
* Wickus Mienie - sales engineer/technical.
* Pat Damon - internal sales.
* Willem Pienaar - Witbank, Middelberg and Eastern Mines.
* John Arthur - Natal.
* Sakkie Kruger - Western Cape.
