Norgren, supplied exclusively in South Africa by Ernest Lowe, has released a new integrated feedback system on its PSA/182000/F1 actuators.
The new position sensor on the PSA 182000 series provides an analog output voltage in proportion to the stroke with the output socket (M12 x 1, 4 pin) integrated into the rear end cover. The absolute analog output of the Norgren sensor technology allows simple connection to various external control or regulation systems and eliminates the need to reset. Electrical accuracy and a repeatability of within a maximum of 13 µm provide a high precision, robust system.
The cylinder range has an austenitic stainless steel piston rod as standard and conforms to ISO 6431, VDMA 24562 and NFE 49-003-1 dimensions. Typically used in the processing industry to control butterfly valves, the cylinders are available in diameters of 40, 50, 63, 80, 100 and 125 mm.
