Mather & Platt moves to Jetpark

Mather & Platt and Bestobell, both Hudaco Group companies, recently had their leases expire at the same time. It was an ideal opportunity for rationalisation and resulted in Mather & Platt taking occupation of brand-new, purpose-built premises at the Bestobell location in Covora Road, Jetpark.
Says Dave Johnson, divisional manager of the M & P 'own brand' pump range "this move is really the cherry on the top. Not only have we recently re-launched the Mather & Platt brand to southern Africa, but we are also in the process of delivering the first pumps of our recent R5,5 million Zambian order. The pumps are lined up in our brand-new workshops right now and certainly do the location justice! Sharing grounds with Bestobell makes excellent sense, strategically, logistically and financially. The more we streamline and tighten up, the better our service to our valued customers. Mather & Platt may be a long-standing brand, but we keep a close watch on technical innovation and development to ensure that our products stay current."
Mather & Platt is also the local agent for Hypower, Turbo-San, Viking, EIM, Vanton and Mercury pumps. This was one of the deciding factors in the recent Zambian order award, as many different types of pumps could be easily sourced from one supplier.
