2-position, 3-way, poppet style solenoid cartridge

First Quarter 2005 Other technologies

Sun is now offering its Model DWDA solenoid operated, 2-position, 3-way, full-flow, balanced poppet cartridge valve. All flow paths are fully bi-directional, and closed paths are blocked in both directions. Shutoff leakage is very low, with a claimed leakage of less than 10 drops/minute at 35 MPa (Sun Hydraulics drop = 1/250 of a cubic inch of hydraulic oil).

The valve offers higher flow capacity than the company's similar function DBAA pilot valve (38 versus 1,9 litres per minute), making this unit well suited to pilot larger logic elements, or for use in higher flow applications where minimal leakage is required. The valve is available with the soft shift solenoid option, significantly reducing transition shock, and with or without manual override. Coil Terminations include ISO DIN 43650, Deutsch, Metri-Pack, AMP Junior Timer, Twin Spade (SAE J858A) and Flying Leads. Standard Voltages Include 12 and 24 V d.c. and 115 and 230 V a.c.
