Yale has been at the forefront of the lifting and materials handling industry for over 125 years, and has been hard at work developing cranes and hoists that meet the expanding needs of its clients. The company's industrial division has long realised the call for materials handling equipment which meets individual client needs, having, for instance, recently tailored a pallet truck specifically for a client in the textile industry. Yale has turned its attention to the area of cranes.
Yale's range of cranes is extensive, and encompasses both single and double girder cranes, Crane capacities range from 125 kg through to 5 tonnes, and they are available in either the free standing or ceiling mounted variety. In the case of jib cranes, these are also available in freestanding or wall-mounted configurations.
Concentrating on customer satisfaction, Yale Industrial Products has established a new division, headed up by Udo Hornung. This division is dedicated to offering existing and potential customers added value concerning the installation and maintenance of lightweight cranes for every application.
The new division offers a host of services, including the design and supply of structures, specialised lifting beams, as well as hoist components, installation of new cranes, testing and certification, refurbishment and modernisation of existing cranes up to 5 tonne capacities, as also total crane care packages. Repairs too, are undertaken here, and as with all Yale products, a comprehensive back-up service on maintenance and spare parts is offered throughout KwaZulu-Natal.
