Movi-switch 2S gearmotors (with 4-pole motors up to 3 kW, for example) are a distributed alternative to conventional drives with switching and protection functions in the central switch cabinet.
Using special conventional switching elements for increased ambient temperature, the Movi-switch 2S generation allows the performing and monitoring of the rotation reversals. The optional integrated AS-i binary slave simplifies assembly and installation, since AS-i slaves are no longer needed. The AS-i connection is compatible with the corresponding connection of Movimot gearmotors with integrated frequency inverter permitting the use of identical AS-i installation technology for mixed decentralised installations.
The ability to mount the Movi-Switch 2S modules separately, means that even drives or motors smaller than 370 W (that are difficult to access) can now benefit from the decentralised advantages.
