Lapp Cable South Africa has a comprehensive range of servo and drives cables on offer. Vender independent cable solutions, ranging from a plain piece of cable to a harnessed (pre-designated length and connector) versions are available.
Highly flexible servomotor and feedback cables, especially suitable for use in power chains are 100% compatible with Indramat systems. The oil, wear and tear-resistant polyurethane sheath makes the use possible particularly in industrial areas, such as machine tools, car body presses and in machine components of transfer lines or production plants.
Double shielded motor connecting cable with low working capacitance of PE-cores and low screen capacitance provides a low-loss transfer of power in comparison to conventional PVC-cables. The version with the split protective conductor has a better EMC performance due to its symmetric cable design compared to 4-cored versions. The cores of the protective conducers are split between the gussets. This permits a concentric cable make-up. The black version 2YSLCYK can be used outdoors (sunlight resistance) with direct burial.
There are highly flexible cables for linear motors applications, especially for use in the power chain, 100% compatible with Siemens systems. The oil, wear and tear-resistant polyurethane sheath enables the use particularly in industrial areas, such as machine tools, car body presses and in machine components of transfer lines or production plants. This cable has been especially designed for linear motor applications and is able to withstand high accelerations, up to 5 G.
Lapp offers plain cables for the following areas:
* For DNC motors on frequency converters (power + brake/temp combined).
* SERVO cable for combined control and supply.
* Feedback cable/sensor cable.
* Resolver, speedo, shaft encoder, absolute and incremental encoders.
* 1000vt motor supply cables.
* 2YSLCY-JB low capacitance, double shielded for high noise levels with split concentric earth conductors.
* DESINA conformance versions.
* Oil and chemical resistant versions.
* Highly flexible versions (5 million bending cycles).
* UL/CSA versions for export orientated markets.
* SIEMENS standard 6FX5008 and 6FX7008 and 6FX8008.
* INDRAMAT standard INK, IKG, IKS & INS (Bosch Rexroth).
And harnessed cables for the following areas:
* SIEMENS 6FX5002 harnessed feedback and motor cable.
* SIEMENS 6FX7002 harnessed motor supply cable for linear transmission systems, UL/CSA.
* SIEMENS 6FX8002 harnessed feedback and motor cables, DESINA
* INDRAMAT IKG harnessed motor connection cable.
* INDRAMAT IKS harnessed feedback cable.
* SERVO harnessed encoder, resolver and fan cable.
