Operational Marketing expands draughting expertise
Third Quarter 2006
News & events
Operational Marketing, one of South Africa's leading lubrication and filtration specialists has brought on board two additional draughtsmen to strengthen the team which is designing the lubrication and filtration systems currently on order.
Desmond Bold and Jo Henriques bring experience from underground and surface mining, general mining as well as from the refrigeration and agricultural sectors.
The decision to expand the computerised-draughting division of Operational Marketing was taken as a direct result of the company obtaining additional contracts. Operational Marketing has realised a 30-40% increase in projects awarded over the last financial year.
A little known fact is that Operational Marketing has equipped three quarters of the installed concentrators in Africa.
The expanded section will mean a quicker turnaround time for the production of computerised systems drawings which are client specific. In addition, they will be involved in the styling of Operational Marketing technical literature.
The company offers design, selection, manufacture, installation and commissioning of oil circulation systems and industrial lubrication and filtration systems to suit all applications and requirements.
Henriques said: "Joining Operational Marketing will offer new challenges for me and a great opportunity to increase and better co-ordinate our multimedia presentations and cross-referencing of technical materials."
Bold continued: "It is our objective to ensure that Operational Marketing becomes more systematic and integrated in its approach to systems design in order to enhance the market penetration potential of the company."
