Donaldson Filtration Systems relocates Johannesburg operation

Donaldson is expanding its international ­footprint with the establishment of a new ­distribution centre and office block in Longmeadow Business Park, Modderfontein, Johannesburg.

Having entered the local market in 1965, Donaldson has progressively expanded its operations and product ­offerings. In the last four years alone the heavy-duty filtration solutions provider has more than doubled in size. This new facility will provide the infrastructure necessary for further expansion both locally and into ­sub-Saharan Africa.

The Longmeadow facility was completed in September 2006 and will house the Engine and Industrial Divisions in a modern office environment. The large distribution centre is ideally located and has been purpose built to handle higher volumes of product, a factor which is expected to even further enhance our service levels to customers. The manufacturing operations in Alrode will remain where they are for the time being.
