Pneumatic piston actuators
Fourth Quarter 2006
Pneumatic systems & components
The Spirax-Mitech pneumatic piston actuators are designed for the Spirax-Mitech M-Series globe valves. The compact range of linear actuators are sized to suit the specific requirements of the application. The actuators are fitted with travel indicators and anti-rotation mechanisms. Depending on the size, the actuators are manufactured from either aluminium or fabricated steel.
The maximum operating pressure for the actuators is 10 bar (1 MPa), while the aluminium actuators with fitted external springs are limited to 6 bar (600 kPa).
Air supply connections include 1/4" (6,35 mm) NPT up to and including CA50 and 1/2" (12,7 mm) NPT for anything larger. The actuators operate in a temperature range of -15°C to +200°C.
