Basic pneumatics

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes the objectives of low cost automation, pneumatic symbols and other general pneumatic principles and will run from 11-13 April in Johannesburg and 18-20 April in Durban.

Pneumatic maintenance

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes a revision of basic pneumatics, followed by more advanced subjects, such as air preparation and layout, and will run from 3-5 April in Durban.

Advanced pneumatics

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes the specific application of actuators and valves and concepts like cascade circuit design and will run from 24-26 April in Johannesburg.

Advanced hydraulics

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes the development of circuit diagrams, analysis of hydraulic systems and synchronous operation of cylinders and will run from 11-13 April in Johannesburg.

Mechatronics 1

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes function and application of actuators, application and selection of sensors, role of controllers and control software, system integration and documentation as well as case studies and networking and will run from 17-20 April in Johannesburg.

Electro pneumatics

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes electrical principles and symbols, control methods and fault-finding procedures and will run from 24-26 April in Durban.

May 2007

Basic pneumatics

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes the objectives of low cost automation, pneumatic symbols and other general pneumatic principles and will run from 16-18 May in Johannesburg and 30 May-1 June in Vereeniging.

Pneumatic maintenance

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes a revision of basic pneumatics, followed by more advanced subjects, such as air preparation and layout, and will run from 2-4 May in Johannesburg and 23-25 May in Cape Town.

Programmable logic controllers (PLC)

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes PLC Control principles, familiarisation, programming and related material and will run from 23-25 May in Johannesburg and 9-11 May in Durban.

Mechatronics 1

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes function and application of actuators, application and selection of sensors, role of controllers and control software, system integration and documentation as well as case studies and networking and will run from 15-18 May in Durban.

Mechatronics 2

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, continues from Mechatronics 1. Including a review on control technologies, the course furthers practical skills, such as downloading software to a PLC with diagnostics, and helps learners interpret technical specifications. It will run from 29 May-1 June in Johannesburg.

Advanced hydraulics

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes the development of circuit diagrams, analysis of hydraulic systems and synchronous operation of cylinders and will run from 2-4 May in Cape Town.

Proportional hydraulics

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes the symbology, specifications and technology behind proportional hydraulics and will run from 16-18 May in Johannesburg.

June 2007

Basic pneumatics

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes the objectives of low cost automation, pneumatic symbols and other general pneumatic principles and will run from 13-15 June in Durban and 20-22 June in Johannesburg.

Electro pneumatics

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes electrical principles and symbols, control methods and fault-finding procedures and will run from 6-8 June in Johannesburg.

Mechatronics 1

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, includes function and application of actuators, application and selection of sensors, role of controllers and control software, system integration and documentation as well as case studies and networking and will run from 12-15 June in Johannesburg.

Mechatronics 2

This MERSETA accredited course by Festo Didactic, combining theory with practice, continues from Mechatronics 1. Including a review on control technologies, the course furthers practical skills, such as downloading software to a PLC with diagnostics, and helps learners interpret technical specifications. It will run from 26-29 June in Cape Town.
