Bartec launches local Flameproof Motors Division

Bartec's renowned range of standard and special design flameproof motors is now available in South Africa. Bartec has been manufacturing flameproof and mining motors for almost 50 years and has gained a worldwide reputation for quality, safety, innovation and value for money.

In addition to standard EEx d/de flameproof motors, Bartec develops, designs and manufactures a broad range of special application electric motors, including:

* Direct entry electric motors.

* Marine motors.

* Motors with brakes, encoders.

* Motors with forced cooling.

* Pump motors IP 68.

* Mining motors and fans.

Bartec motors have been successfully utilised for a variety of applications in the petrochemical, mining, shipping and manufacturing industries.

The new Flameproof Motor Division will be headed by Rob Edgar.
