Genflex expands product range
Third Quarter 2007
News & events
Genflex Hydraulics is set to expand its product range offering with the addition of quick release couplings, SAE 100R7 hydraulic hose and braided Teflon hose.
Genflex quick release coupling
The quick release couplings are suited to the hydraulics, agricultural and mining industries. The SAE 100R7 hose is a nylon core hose with polyester braids and an outer cover in polyurethane. It is particularly useful in the forklift truck and industrial gases and liquids industries. The high temperature, stainless steel braided Teflon hose can be used for air and for gases which cannot be transported through conventional industrial hose. This hose has a working temperature of up to 250°C.
Genflex is acquiring supplies more frequently now from the Far East, in particular China, where service, quality, attention to delivery and customer relations are key to the development of their industries and technologies.
Bruce Garner, managing director of Genflex, commented: "I am very excited about the introduction of the stainless steel braided Teflon hose as it does not rot or rust even under severe conditions."
In April, Genflex opened a new depot in Nigel, on the East Rand, in order to service the mines more efficiently as well as expand their market share in the agricultural and trucking sectors.
