CMG opens in Mpumalanga

CMG's newly established Middelburg, Mpumalanga branch is geared to meet the growing market demands of the area, which is home to 50 mines in a radius of approximately 120 km of the town.

"The entire range of CMG motors and drives will be available from our new, well equipped, 300 m² premises in Rand Street, High View Park," says branch manager, Tony Campbell. "We are primarily targeting the smelters, the mining industry and OEMs in the region," says Campbell. "So far we have secured a prominent steel mine, a leading chrome producer and quite a number of OEMs as clients."

Australian multinational CMG, international manufacturer and supplier of electric motors, drives and transmissions came to South Africa five years ago when managing director, Brian Campbell, opened CMG in KwaZulu-Natal and subsequently established the company's head office in Johannesburg. The Johannesburg head office, factory and stores are now housed in brand new, spacious facilities in Meadowdale.
