A full range of laser edge and laser object detectors are sourced from Sensor Instruments of Germany by Asstech.
The LCC series laser copy counters are designed for detecting and counting magazines or single sheets in imbricated arrangement (regularly arranged with overlapping edges), but are also suitable for counting corrugated cardboard boxes, laminates and counting the number of folds of paper filters (such as air filters). Due to their high scanning frequency this series can detect sheet edges of a thickness of typically 50 μm at speeds of up to 500 000 copies/hour in the optimal operating range.
The LBC series laser blade counters are used for detecting and counting the vanes or blades of turbochargers and fans. The high scanning frequency and the standardised data evaluation of the laser sensor allow application with objects of different colour and speeds of up to 30 000 rpm.
The LWC series laser wire counters reliably detect individual wires during rotation. Due to the speed of intensity-independent evaluation, wires can be safely detected at up to 500 wires/second, irrespective of colour, surface and speed of rotation. An automatic dead-time algorithm prevents multiple pulses per wire.
