German owned multinational company SEW-Eurodrive will use Electra Mining 2008 as the official South African launch platform for its new X Series range of industrial gears.
This product is particularly appropriate to the mining industry and in cement mixing and water aeration applications. Models cover the torque range 58 kNm to 175 kNm. Features of the new product include its robust gear housing; reduced cost and weight due to high power density and finely stepped sizes; effective cooling systems; adaptable mounting options and short delivery lead times for complete units and spares.
Electra Mining is being held from 8-12 September 2008 at the Nasrec Exhibition Centre in Johannesburg and SEW-Eurodrive can be found on Stand J20 in Hall 6.
