Goldquest introduces new catalogue

Third Quarter 2008 News & events

Goldquest International Hydraulics, formerly known as Vickers Systems, has built a reputation over many years as a supplier of high quality hydraulic components bearing the Vickers brand name.

The company's aim is to provide high quality and trusted solutions to all manner of applications with a diverse product range.

In order to support this mission, the company has developed and published its 2008 full colour product catalogue which summarises the Goldquest range of products and simplifies the procurement process. Included in this product round-up are the Goldquest trademark pumps, valves, filtration, hydraulic tools, cylinders, coolers, accumulators, fittings and accessories.

"A product range as wide and deep as ours poses a real challenge when it comes to keeping customers informed about all that we have available. The production of this catalogue places the majority of our products before our customers in one easy to use document," says Goldquest's James Leach.

Only those product selections and configurations most commonly applied in the South African market have been included in the document. However, customers are reminded of the availability of more specialised products that can be sourced from Goldquest's contact centre and regional distributors.

An enhanced visual reference guide that helps users to identify any part has improved usability significantly. This overcomes problems where previously multiple names were used for similar products; Cooler or Heat Exchanger for instance.

"Our objective with this catalogue is to provide an un-intimidating, user friendly reference resource that will cater to the majority of our customers' needs. Customers can then download more detailed information, such as model specific performance data and graphs, from our website. This is just one of the initiatives that we are undertaking in order to improve our service offering," concludes Leach.

For more information or to request a copy of this catalogue contact James Leach, Goldquest, +27 (0)11 614 2004, [email protected], www.goldquest.co.za
