Tectra Automation has announced the appointment of Kevin Lombard to the position of general manager, effective from 1 June 2008. Lombard was previously the divisional manager – Linear Motion and Assembly Technology, and has been a full director of the Tectra Automation board since 2006.

Festo has announced the appointment of Greg Perks to the position of branch manager – Cape Town. Perks has been employed by Festo since 1995 and is an external examiner for UCT’s Mechanical Engineering Faculty.
