The highlight of Hydrasales 30th anniversary beach party was a prize draw of a trip for two to an island destination. Guests held their breath in anticipation as Hydrasales general manager, Elvira Caripis, drew the winning entry from the box. Ruan Pieterse of Hydraflex Benoni was the lucky winner and will soon be winging his way to the idyllic island of Phuket, Thailand, with his wife.

Themed as an island getaway with décor to suit, guests at this 30th celebration were treated to exotic food and good company.
Guests had lots to talk about. Some reminisced about the early days when a fledgling Hydrasales traded from tiny premises in Voortrekker Street, Edenvale. Debbie Bohnen, one of Hydrasales first employees, talked about the visionary way in which Maurice Allenby and Haroun Pochee took on the challenge of establishing and growing the business. Prominent industry players were complimentary about Hydrasales’ competitiveness, quest for service delivery and the range of inventory options presented to customers.
