Sick opens subsidiary

In response to consistent growth in the South African processing industry, the German sensor manufacturer Sick has founded its own subsidiary in this country. The company was previously represented by distributors M&M Systems Automation and Jendamark Automation. The newly formed company is a joint venture between Sick and M&M Systems Automation.
Sick AG is a leading producer of sensors and sensor solutions for industrial applications in factory, logistics and process automation. The primary objective of this new company is to be close to the market, offering high quality products and expertise to customers in South Africa. This includes world class application knowledge as well as after-sales service.
