SKF has been sponsoring the highly successful Auby Boyz Race team since 2009 and is actively involved at every level. “Our role as sponsor is much more than just supplying bearing components. We are in it for the long haul and consider ourselves partners,” says Gary Czapski, SKF sales manager – VSM. “We are there in the pits at every race meet to offer advice and to support the Aubys. Our customers and suppliers are also race enthusiasts and they share in our excitement and pride in this exceptional family racing dynasty.”

SKF customers were invited to the final round of the Wesbank Super Series. The vibe was electrifying and they enjoyed the racing from an excellent vantage point at the boma in the Club House area. Every time one of the Aubys made an appearance in their SKF branded car, they were greeted with thunderous applause from the SKF boma.
The four member Auby Boyz team is one of South Africa’s most esteemed family success stories and the Boyz have brought home many titles over the years. The International Superstars Series invited Brandon Auby to drive in the 2010 season finale at Kyalami, making him the only South African representative. Brandon Auby says, “Apart from the quality and reliability of SKF products, the SKF team has given us tremendous support. They are with us all the way, offering the full package – technology, product, assistance and advice.”
