For accurate current measurement, ProSys has produced a range of high performance flexible current probes based on Rogowski technology.
The complete probe consists of measuring head, (Rogowski coil), connecting cable between head and integrator, integrator and output cable. The latter is terminated with a safety BNC male connector for connection to oscilloscopes, recorders, and other devices.
Standard units have three current ranges – 30 A/300 A/3000 A. Other calibrations such as 60 A/600 A/6000 A can be ordered. In each case the output signal is 3 V.
The standard length green measuring head (illustrated) is 610 mm and will fit a circular conductor of up to 195 mm diameter. Other lengths are available between 381 mm and 1220 mm.
Probes of this type have a wide bandwidth: 10 Hz to 10 kHz with an accuracy of ±1%.
