Valves with more value
3rd Quarter 2011
News & events
Sauer-Danfoss has announced a newly created standalone business, named Valmova, effective from May 2011. The business name is derived from the company’s tag line, Valves With More Value. Valmova will manufacture and sell directional control valves, which were previously manufactured and marketed within the central Sauer-Danfoss organisation. “Valmova is well-positioned to meet the needs and expectations of customers,” says Sven Ruder, president and chief executive officer of Sauer-Danfoss. “Through our growing applications expertise and conversations with customers, we discovered that there are tangible differences for this product line, especially in terms of customer needs, and now Valmova will bring an enhanced focus on additional features and functionality.”Valmova becomes the newest member of the Sauer-Danfoss Group, which includes Comatrol, Turolla OpenCircuitGear, and Schwarzmüller-Inverter, in addition to the joint venture company, Hydro-Gear.
