LS Industrial Systems’ range of variable speed drives, PLC and scada products are experiencing major growth in many aspects of industry.
Drives
The variable speed drive products are available in sizes ranging from 100 W to 11 MW, offering a comprehensive range to the South African market. Modern, ultra-reliable design, featuring full earth-fault protection on the run, even in the medium voltage drive products, combined with extensive functionality makes this range a good design choice.
The LS medium voltage drive offers market leading in this field functionality, low mains harmonics, system up-time, cost per kilowatt and near sine-wave output to the motor, without requiring extra chokes or filters.
PLCs and scada
LS (formerly LG) Industrial Systems has developed its PLC range to compete in the established European and American. The XGi PLC is now branded and marketed by markets leading American automation houses as a DCS, using a modified version of the LS XG5000 software package.
LS also launched a high-level 32 bit scada package some 18 months ago. Known as ‘InfoU’, LS is currently working on a version that incorporates MES and ERP functionality.
Software for all LS products, except the LS InfoU scada system, is available free-of-charge, and can be downloaded from the Ana-Digi Systems website.
