Donaldson’s third generation of Synteq fuel filter water separator media is specially formulated for high performance water separation. It uses both cellulose and meltblown synthetic layers to achieve the highest levels of fuel filtration performance to give engine pumps and injectors a higher level of protection. The double-layered media has increased particulate holding capacity. It can be used in both the suction and pressure sides of fuel systems making it an ideal choice for critical applications or extended service intervals.

The silicone treated cellulose layer provides improved separation and dirt holding capacity performance and captures the smallest contaminants. The synthetic layer consists of synthetic meltblown fibres that deliver maximum filtration capacity and optimum water separation. This layer is engineered to capture finer contaminant and coalesce water droplets to enhance emulsified water separation performance.

It offers increased particulate holding capacity, a high performance water separator, and high efficiency emulsified water separation. In addition it filters a greater amount of emulsified water than silicone treated cellulose only and holds three times as much contaminant.
