Fluid handling is a delicate task in industrial facilities, especially when it involves multiple points to be supplied and remote distances. “The new range of hose reels from SKF has been designed to help our customers to transport air, water, oil or grease at remote distances without the necessity to move fluids or packaging throughout the factory,” said Steve Gething, SKF South Africa’s business development manager: reliability services and maintenance products.
“Moreover, even if a suitable hose is already in place, a safety risk is always implied when hoses are lying tangled on the floor, not to mention the premature damage of the hose itself due to improper handling,” he added.
A comprehensive range with two models and seven products has been designed to cover most typical applications in industrial and automotive applications. They provide a simple but effective solution when it comes to transport air, water, oil or grease. Typical applications include lubricants handling, assembly stations and pneumatic networks in production facilities, as well as vehicle service workshops.
