Metal-seated ball valves for demanding applications

PBM has just released a line of metal-seated ball valves in split body ANSI Class 150 and 300, along with 3-piece 2-way, flush tank, and 3-way diverter configurations. The company is stocking chrome-carbide coated 316 stainless steel ball and seat sets which allow for short lead times – typically two weeks after receipt of order – in sizes 1,3 through 10 cm. To meet specific applications PBM also has the design capability to manufacture in larger sizes and higher pressure classes, as well as a wide variety of ball and seat coatings
The metal-seated ANSI ball valves are SIL-3 capable according to IEC 61508. They can handle temperatures up to 538°C with Class V shutoff coming as standard. These valves are fundamentally fire-safe and can meet leakage criteria of USCG positive shut-off. They are available with manual handle, optional locking handle, and a full line of automation and controls. A complete quick-turn repair service is also available.
