As part of its drive to supply a comprehensive range of filtration products, services and solutions, Hytec Fluid Technology (HFT) has become a distributor of Baldwin heavy duty filters. This makes HFT one of South Africa’s largest suppliers of fluid management technology and condition monitoring equipment.
The Baldwin Filters head office is based in Kearney, Nebraska, and the company manufactures more than 6000 different filter products in various factories all over the world, including South Africa. The filter products include lube, air, fuel, hydraulic, coolant and cabin air filters. “We are very excited to include the heavy duty filter range, which has a worldwide reputation for quality, into our existing range of best-in-class fluid technology products,” says Sandor Bottyan, general manager, HFT.
Baldwin Filters was recently named North America’s leading aftermarket manufacturer of filters for medium to heavy duty commercial vehicles by Frost & Sullivan. The company is an approved OE manufacturer for many of the leading construction, transport, industrial and agricultural OEM brands in the world. Filters are available for a wide range of trucks and agricultural and heavy duty equipment.
“With a predicted growth in vehicles in operation, tougher emissions standards and increases in commercial vehicle mileage, it is the right time for us strategically to introduce this range. For our customers, it is also the right time to consider switching to a leading international filter manufacturer with comprehensive customer support,” concludes Bottyan.
