Industrial Control Specialists is a specialist consultancy providing end users of process control equipment in the manufacturing and process industries with professional advice and assistance in the selection, application, maintenance and sales of industrial process control equipment.

Founder and owner, Piet Badenhorst draws on 30 years of experience in the industrial process control, construction and manufacturing industries. “Industry is very lean on skills and in dire need of experienced instrumentation specialists, specifically in the critical area of control valves, which are the final control element in every process loop,” he says.

The company can assist small to medium end users with business and management consulting, sizing and selection of valves and instruments, selection of fit for purpose equipment, advice on equipment already purchased, tender adjudication, procurement of equipment, advice on maintenance and service best practices, shutdown planning and management, spare parts inventory and control. An advantage is that the company is vendor independent and can thus supply expert advice and fit for purpose products and solutions.
