In the first annual Siemens partner golf day, Siemens’ strategic partners from all over Africa were treated to a day of golf at the Serengeti Golf Estate outside Johannesburg. Part of the proceedings included a presentation on Adams Golf, provider of premium quality golf clubs using cutting edge engineering technology – Ernie Els has recently signed Adams as a supplier. Siemens’ PLM digital engineering software suite has played a crucial role in designing this range of innovative clubs. The Siemens digital engineering software suite has also contributed to the design of the championship-winning Red Bull air racing craft, the development of Canon cameras, the design of the Boeing and Airbus, and even the Mars Curiosity Rover.
