Hydraulic & Pneumatic Hub (HPH) commenced operations in March 2014. Centrally located in City Deep, Johannesburg, HPH offers complete system design, engineering services and technical advice in both the hydraulic and pneumatic spheres, and can provide fully tested and approved manufactured systems to customer’s specifications.
Stockholding is also a key element of HPH’s business strategy. With carefully selected high quality products from a network of reputable suppliers, the company is building up inventories, and a number of key distribution and reseller agreements have been secured. These include Norgren pneumatic equipment; Galtech aluminium gear pumps and motors, monoblock lever operated valves and sectional block lever operated valves; Kaufmann Hydraulics; Kaufmann Pneumatics; Semperit hydraulic hose; Yukem hydraulic components; and OMM hydraulic components.
HPH is a startup BEE company, with a majority BEE shareholding and is currently at Level 3. With auditing scheduled for the last quarter of 2014, management expects fully compliancy in both ISO 9001-2008 and OHSA 18 000. Each employee of HPH is a shareholder and collectively with its non-executive partners this embraces well over 110 years of knowledge in various fluid power markets.
HPH was recently granted membership of the South African Fluid Power Association (SAFPA) owing to its many years of industry experience. SAFPA represents approximately one hundred of the top industry players in South Africa.
