HSS achieves Master distributorship for Schroeder

Hydrastatic Sales & Service (HSS) has been awarded Master Distributor status by Schroeder Industries, and is responsible for Schroeder product distribution across sub-Saharan Africa. Michael Lamers, vice president of sales for Schroeder Industries and Warren Wilson, HSS sales director visited major mining OEMs such as Atlas Copco and Joy Global to discuss the latest developments and product innovations from Schroeder Industries. An important issue was the need for advanced diesel filtration for Tier 4 engines due to the imminent move from low sulphur diesel (LSD) to ultra low sulphur diesel (ULSD) and a reduction in the sulphur content from 500 to15 ppm. Schroeder has developed a series of products from 1,5 to 1000 gpm with high efficiency coalescing media, providing the perfect balance to collect and trap both water and other contaminants in a single element.

The Schroeder filtration brand remains at the forefront of fluid filtration solutions with mobile and industrial innovation in hydraulic filtration, elements technology, filter systems, process and fuels. The Schroeder BestFit range of replacement filter elements allows for easy and accurate replacement of all major brands of filter elements. HSS will focus on marketing the Schroeder product within the mining sector in support of OEM businesses, as well as on strategic reseller partnerships and direct marketing to the end-user.
