SMC has redesigned its AC series of air preparation modular units. This is part of the company’s ongoing investment into research and development to refine and improve the performance and functionality of its products, as well as to develop new innovations for enhanced handling and space saving to deliver competitive advantage for its customers. The AC series has a double layer structure bowl guard for better visibility and extended working life and reduces the time and space required for maintenance.
Space saving is achieved through the compactness of the modular units and the integrated and selectable pressure gauges and switches. The introduction of an in-bowl assembled element construction, together with a new bracket system that allows for initial tightening by hand, allows for easier control and quick in-hand maintenance and replacement of elements. Ideal for automotive, facility and machine manufacturing, these highly flexible F.R.L. units also feature a simple to use bowl lock button and interchangeable, modular mounting.
Quick facts
• Better visibility and environmental resistance.
• Easy replacement of the element: the element and the bowl are in one piece and replacement can be done in hand.
• Reduced required maintenance space.
• Regulator: set pressure 0,05 to 0,85 MPa, 0,02 to 0,2 MPa.
• Selection of pressure gauges: square embedded type pressure gauge, round type, digital pressure switch.
How to clean compressed air effectively
Pneumatic systems & components
ISO-Reliability Partners has taken another step in bringing to market highly effective solutions to combat contamination in all its forms. The locally designed and patented Air Wizard inline water trap is proudly manufactured in South Africa. It has been SABS tested for the separation of water, oily fluids, rust and solid particulates from pneumatic compressed air or gas lines.
