Yale has launched a new range of CCTV solutions designed to help you keep an eye on your home remotely via a smartphone or tablet. The new kit is available in two camera DVR/NVR packs, or as single Wi-Fi camera solution.
One of the key features of the 4K Wi-Fi CCTV kit is the ability to remotely access cameras from anywhere. In fact, 51% of homeowners surveyed said that remote monitoring is a useful feature they’d like in order to see what is happening at home. Using the Yale View app, you can view a live feed in high definition from your CCTV straight to your smartphone or tablet, or use the play back capability to watch footage from an earlier date. For ultimate peace of mind, you can even receive email or push notifications in the event that motion is detected.
Kate Clark, MD for Yale EMEA, said: “With the new CCTV range, the cameras are more robust and easier than ever to view remotely. Not only can you monitor exterior areas such as gardens and garages, but also oversee the inside of your home if you wish. There is no need to run cables through the house with these wireless cameras.”
Each Wi-Fi outdoor camera records in 4 MP and has a 16X digital zoom for closer surveillance. The cameras are weather-resistant and have enhanced 30 m night vision for 24-hour monitoring. (Additional HD1080 wired AHD cameras can also be coupled to the DVR.)
