Powermite’s Molex GWConnect heavy duty connector portfolio includes industrial connectors (including multipole), inserts, aluminium enclosures and more than 6000 complementary products. All components in the Molex range are fabricated from the finest quality materials and are compliant with international standards and UL/CSA requirements.
The Molex multipole connectors are designed and developed for heavy duty industrial applications. Perfectly suited to be utilised with alternate or direct current, these robust connectors facilitate the manufacturing process, installation and maintenance of sectional electric parts in complex electric and electronic machinery and are also used in robots, electric panels, control equipment as well as power, control and signal circuit connectivity.
The units are available in 2,5 mm2, 6 mm2 and 16 mm2 and in 10,16, 35 and 80 A ranges in various combinations of power and control connectors.The main parts of the advanced Molex enclosures are manufactured from die-cast aluminium alloy with a polyester powder (nickel plated for EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) versions or a self-extinguishing thermoplastic finish.
Placing safety as a key priority, several different locking systems that comprise galvanised steel or stainless steel monoblock levers as well as stainless steel springs and pegs deliver enhanced coupling stability and protection against accidental opening. Sealing is ensured thanks to special gaskets that protect the insert inside the enclosures against dust, water and other aggressive agents. These enclosures are at home in various industrial installations as well as in standard, harsh and EMC environments.
