The Dodge ISN Safety Mount spherical roller bearings from ABB, distributed by Bearings International (BI), feature a patented integral adaptor mounting and removal system that makes it easy to install and remove with no shaft damage. Interchangeable with SN dimensioned housings, the ISN also delivers longer life and improved reliability.
The bearing combines the advantages of modern Dodge bearings with a patented new locking mechanism that improves the safety and productivity of any operation. Benefits include replacing hammer blows with simply fastener tightening, no need for feeler gauges or other special tools, and a new lock plate for simple installation.
Installation and removal can be carried out by a single person, while mounting and dismounting is from the same side of the bearing. The bearings are assembled, sealed and lubricated at the factory and are shaft-ready out of the box, eliminating the possibility of any contamination during installation.
