Integrated Air Solutions expands its compressor rental service

Third Quarter 2023 Pneumatic systems & components

The significant growth of the industrial air compressor rental division launched by Integrated Air Solutions under a year ago, has prompted the need for more resources and equipment. Headed up by Rudolf Denton, the rental division was established in a bid to provide customers with fast, reliable, flexible, cost- and energy-efficient industrial compressed air supply solutions. The division also supports Integrated Air Solutions’ sales business, offering customers reliable temporary compressed air solutions while waiting for their existing compressor to be repaired or replaced, thereby keeping production flowing.

“Irrespective of whether the customer is renting or buying compressed air equipment from us, high-quality service is always our number one priority,” says managing director of Integrated Air Solutions, Wayne Jacobs. “Since introducing our rental offering to industry in July last year, our rental customer base has grown rapidly. To ensure that we keep in step, and maintain our proud service record, we have bolstered our rental team. A new sales person and an office administrator have joined our dedicated, skilled service technicians who support customers on site 24/7.”

The division also had to look at ramping up its rental fleet of electrical compressors (7,5 to 250 kw and 7 to 10 bar), diesel compressors (185 to 1100 cfm and 7 to 10 bar) and high-pressure (21 bar) diesel compressors with a flow of 1100 cfm. “We have invested in new air compressors, including 850 cfm 10 bar units,” confirms Jacobs. The comprehensive rental fleet meets a wide range of compressed air solutions, from small workshops to large factories, within the mining, engineering, refinery, construction and civil works, cement and manufacturing sectors.

Jacobs confirms that rental expansions also extend to the company’s comprehensive aftermarket service offering, with a healthy stock level being carried by head office in Jet Park, Johannesburg. “Uptime adds to the bottom line, so our newly bolstered rental team and fleet enables us to deliver a quick product and service turnaround to get customers up and running in no time for seamless and optimised production.”

In conclusion, Jacobs says that in order to ensure its future-readiness, there are more growth plans in the company’s air compressor rental division pipeline. “Remaining true to our initial launch mandate, we will continue adding compressors to our rental fleet so that we are able to sustainably meet our customers’ individual and unique compressed air requirements.”

Established by Johannesburg-based GiGi Investments in 2017, Integrated Air Solutions supplies innovative, technologically advanced premium-brand industrial electric and diesel-driven compressors to the southern African industry. The B-BBEE level 4 organisation is the exclusive regional sales and service partner in South Africa for ELGi Equipment, FS Elliott and Aircom, and was recently appointed as local service partner for leading global Spanish brand, ABC Compressors.
