Innomotics showcases efficient motors and drives at Hannover Messe

Second Quarter 2025 News & events

Innomotics recently presented its innovations and solutions for a sustainable industry at the Hannover Messe 2025. Highlights included a novel Active Vibration Control System, IE6 energy efficiency class motors, and new product partnerships.

This year’s appearance by Innomotics followed the motto ‘Grow Sustainably. Drive Efficiency. Empower Innovation’. The provider of electric motors and large drive systems addressed the global challenges faced by industrial companies. Companies want to increase productivity and profitability- despite difficult economic conditions. At the same time, sustainability goals must be achieved and energy consumption reduced. Innomotics supports its customers in all these aspects with its highly efficient and climate-friendly innovations and solutions.

The highlights

With the new Innomotics Active Vibration Control System (AVCS) for high-voltage motors, vibration during operation can be significantly reduced. This innovation actively decouples the motor from its foundation, allowing it to be operated on virtually any foundation without speed cut-off ranges. The reduction of motor and foundation vibrations thus optimises plant availability.

Using an Innomotics AVCS, the rotor speed of the motor can be increased by at least 10 to 15%. This potential can be further expanded using optimised controls.

In the low-voltage range, Innomotics is expanding its portfolio with permanent magnet motors of the most advanced energy efficiency class IE6. These motors are characterised, among other things, by 20% less losses compared to IE5 motors. The motors with a power factor close to 1 are available in power sizes from 0,37 to 250 kW at 1500 and 3000 rpm.

Using the medium-voltage converter, Perfect Harmony GH180, Innomotics exemplifies the numerous advantages offered by the digitalisation software, Innomotics Inspire IQ. The GH180 – part of the Innomotics Perfect Harmony family and celebrating its 30th anniversary this year – is equipped with a Smart Cell System. Together with the Innomotics Inspire IQ platform, the GH180 offers comprehensive cloud-based monitoring capabilities such as thermal monitoring, arc detection and environmental condition analysis. Overall, Innomotics Inspire IQ can optimise the operation of motors and converters, reduce maintenance costs, and further increase the lifespan of the products.

New partnership expands portfolio

At the trade fair, Innomotics also signed its strategic partnership with the Danish company, Danfoss Drives. This expands the offerings of both global market leaders through the mutual complementing of their portfolios. Innomotics adds another strong partner to its existing partnership with Siemens.

“Through innovation, industrial companies can combine growth and sustainability. Only in this way can they maintain competitiveness and create a livable future for upcoming generations. Innomotics demonstrated at Hannover Messe how this can be achieved. Highly efficient electric motors and reliable drives make an important contribution to this. Together with our cooperation partners, Danfoss and Siemens, we find the right solution even under the most difficult conditions and access new markets with great growth potential,” summarises Innomotics CEO, Michael Reichle.
